FAQS

We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you plan your dream wedding at M&D Farm. Have more questions? We're here to help!

  • What is the typical event flow at a wedding?

Normally this is the flow of a wedding at M&D Farm, although it can be customized depending on the couple's vision:

    • Ceremony at the barn front courtyard or at the pond (outdoor).

    • Cocktail hour at the upper gardens (outdoor), barn main building, bar located at the right wing of the barn, barn's front courtyard and the pond gardens.

    • Dinner is always outdoors and normally at the barn’s back courtyard.

    • Dancing at the barn main building or/and outside.

  • What is M&D Farm’s rain plan?

We recommend couples to reserve a tent in case of inclement weather. A deposit is required to secure the tent with the rental company. You have the flexibility to confirm your tent usage or cancel it 3 days before the event. If the weather forecast shows rain for ceremony time, this is moved to the barn.

  • Do you have a preferred vendor list?

Yes, we do! Once you book your wedding with us, we'll share our preferred vendor list with you. This list includes talented professionals we've had positive experiences with in the past.

However, we understand that couples may have specific vendors they'd like to work with. We're happy to review your preferred vendors and work with them as long as they meet our venue requirements.

  • How much does catering typically cost?

Our preferred caterers offer a wide range of options, so costs can vary greatly depending on your menu choices, guest count, and catering style.

However, to give you a general idea, a starting price point for a 5-hour service (including food and alcohol) is around $165 per person before tax and service. This price typically includes staffing, tableware, setup, and teardown.
